Rumson-raised Patrick Brian George, of West Palm Beach, passed away peacefully on Dec. 13. He was 41.
“Patrick was a loving son and brother with a great sense of humor. His appetite for adventure and love of the water was enthusiastically shared by his beloved dog, Brandy. Patrick was also a doting uncle to his three nephews and an adored friend by many.”

Born in Beirut, Lebanon, Patrick grew up in Rumson and graduated from graduate of The Marine Academy of Science & Technology (MAST) high school on Sandy Hook. Patrick excelled academically and later enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Engineer. He graduated from Thomas Edison State University with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science & Technology.
An avid outdoor lover, he later moved to West Palm Beach, FL to work for the South Florida Water Management District as a cyber security specialist and later received his MBA from Florida International University.
Patrick is survived by: his mother and father, Brian and Eileen George, of Little Silver; his sister, Mary (Robert) Dobson, of Rumson; and his brother, Christian (Tanisha) George of Bear, DE.
A mass of christian burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church in Rumson in the later weeks with interment following at Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ, where he will be laid to rest by his grandparents.
