Red Bank native Clare Tyluki-McIntosh passed away on Feb. 26. She was 68.

A 1975 graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School (RBC), Clare earned her associate’s degree from Brookdale Community College.

An avid reader, Clare shared her love of books by sending each of her great nieces and nephews books several times a year. Clare also had a great interest in music and theater and often would travel alone into the city to attend one of her favorite groups in concert …

Clare worked in the secretarial field for many years, but more recently became a certified home health care aide, “which she found greatly rewarding.” She also served on the Family & Friends board at the New Lisbon Developmental Center in New Lisbon, where her brother, Paul, has been a longtime resident.
Clare is survived by her husband, James McIntosh; her siblings, Leigh Tyluki (Joanne), Cathy Cameron (Robert), Paul Tyluki, Christine Ross (Harvey); her step-children, Jimmy McIntosh (Catherine), Kelly McDougall (Alan); daughter-in-law Felicia McIntosh-Will (Stephen); grandson, James McIntosh; six nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
A service is set for Sunday, March 16, from 1 to 4 p.m. at John E. Day Funeral Home.
