“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mom,” longtime Rumson resident, real estate agent, wife, grandmother and great-grandmother as well, Ann Doran, on Feb. 21. Just eight days shy of her 96th birthday, Ann was 95.
“Ann was born in Elizabeth and graduated from Upsala College in 1952. She lived and worked in real estate in Rumson for nearly 60 years. In addition to real estate, she was an avid gardener and tennis player for many years.

“For anyone who truly knew mom, she was ‘Forever Young.’ Ann will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and as a pillar in the community.”
She is predeceased by: her loving husband , Frank; and her tremendous son, Tom.
Ann is survived by: her daughters, Carol, Cathy, and Cindy; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, at Holy Cross Church in Rumson. Any contributions should go to the Arthritis Foundation.
