In Memoriam: Fair Havenite Toni Towne-Kilkeary, 46

“Toni was a fierce Mama Bear, protecting her children and anyone whom she loved. Everyone in Toni’s world knew how special they were, as she truly protected her circle. She would have been the first person at the doorstep when someone reached out for help.” ~

Fair Havenite Toni Towne-Kilkeary passed away unexpectedly on June 24. She was 46.

Born on Oct. 6, 1976, in Adrian, MI, Toni grew up in Tecumseh, where she became a 1994 graduate who was loved by many and ended up settling in Fair Haven.

“Toni worked in various roles throughout the community over the last 10 years.  She had a true passion for the arts, fashion, and planning volunteer events. Toni took time off from the workforce to build a family. During this time, the love for her children and the dedication to her family became her true passion. From coaching on the field to the sidelines, Toni was always front and center as her children’s cheerleader. Supporting and loving her children is what she lived for. Toni loved making every birthday, special occasion, and even ordinary days magical. Neighborhood children would congregate around her home after school and on weekends. Toni loved people and loved to bring people together. She always made sure that her children devoured religion and spirituality.”
