In Memoriam: Fair Haven-Raised Anthony Hesse, 58

Fair Haven-raised Anthony Charles Hesse, of Brick, passed away peacefully at his home on Dec. 4. He was 58.

Born in Red Bank, Anthony was the founder of AC Hesse, a construction and trucking company in Toms River.

Anthony is predeceased by: his parents Daniel J. Hesse Sr., and Sandra (Steffer); and his brother, Daniel J. Hesse, Jr.

He is survived by: Terri Hesse; his two loving daughters, Ava C. Hesse DeRosa (husband Anthony) and Alexa C. Hesse; two sisters, Stephanie Streett and her husband Rob, and Christiane Hesse; his three loyal companions, Mischa, Joey and Lucas who followed him wherever he went; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to noon with a celebration of life service at noon at the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Interment will immediately follow at the Fair View Cemetery in Middletown. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to 3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue.
