It’s summertime and the DWI checkpoints are again becoming more routine for the weekends. There’s one to kick off the weekend running from Friday night into early Saturday morning, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

All vehicles traveling south on Route 35 will be diverted into the Dearborn Market parking lot. There, until 1 a.m. on Saturday, drivers will be screened for sobriety by Task Force members and Holmdel police.
