Prosecutor: Juvenile Facing Unlawful Gun Possession Charge After July 4th Shooting

A 16-year-old male juvenile is in custody on a second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun charge following a shots-fired incident during Fourth of July festivities on the Asbury Park boardwalk that left two people injured, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni said on Friday.

It’s officially summertime, and the livin’ is … adventurous for many RFH students. Most are known to hit the beach, clubs or public, in Sea Bright. And some look for a little adventure in venturing away from familiar, iconic turf, and onto another great Jersey adventure, so to speak.

A Monmouth County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the 2017 shooting death of a Long Branch man, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.
