The following February arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Arrests

• Joseph Vulpis, 62, of Rumson, was arrested on Feb. 27 and charged with two counts of possession of prohibited weapons, two counts of certain persons not to possess weapons, two counts of receiving stolen property and other related offenses.

• Juanita Bell, 44, of Matawan, was arrested on Feb. 23 and charged with six counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of fencing stolen property. An investigation by Detective Stack and Patrolman James Camilleri revealed that Bell was removing high-end trading cards from the mail in Rumson and later selling them to card shops for profit. Camilleri made the arrest.
