The following April arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
- Panagioti Kardasis, 44, of Hackensack, was arrested at Rumson Municipal Court on April 9 and charged with driving while suspended by Patrolman Donald Morse. Kardasis was taken to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
- Jonah Snell, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 17 and charged with unlawful taking (a motor vehicle) of means of conveyance (motor vehicle), known as joyriding, stemming from a missing car reported at a restaurant on First Street, by Patrolman Hannah Certo. ** The unlawful taking is taking a vehicle without the owner’s consent (to drive it for some reason) with no intention of keeping it. **
- Deshawn Miranda, 31, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Avenue of Two Rivers and Clover Lane on April 22 on a contempt of court warrant out of Neptune Township by Patrolman James Camilleri.
