Rumson Police: No Early Morning Parking in Winter

The Rumson Police Department issued a statement reminding the public that from December 1 through the end of March, 2024, parking any Rumson street is prohibited from 3 to 5 a.m.

The winter parking restriction is covered under the borough’s ordinance 7-3.4.

If there is what police deem a valid need of a resident to park on the roadway that would pose no hazard and there is no threat of prohibitive winter weather, residents may call police at 732-842-0500 to make requests. Police advise that they should “be prepared to provide vehicle’s make, model, plate number and contact information.”
