A Saturday night accident that resulted in the death of a male pedestrian the child he was carrying is under investigation, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Sunday.
On Saturday, May 30, at 9:16 p.m., in Aberdeen, police responded to the intersection of Route 35 and Cliffwood Avenue on a report of a vehicle crash involving two pedestrians.

The driver remained on scene.
No charges or summonses have been issued with regard to the incident at this time.
