Police Report: Theft, Assault, Terroristic Threats, Fugitive From Justice, Criminal Mischief, DWI, Hindering Apprehension

The following December 2023 criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft of $1,504 worth of merchandise from a Newman Springs Road business was reported on Dec. 18.

Patrolman Frank Metta took the report.

• The theft of $1,950 in cash from the glove box of a motor vehicle in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Dec. 12.

Patrolman Froilan Hernandez took the report.

• The theft of a black pair of Burberry sunglasses, valued at $250, a pair of black Louis Vuitton sunglasses, valued at $250, and a pair of Apple Airpods, valued at $120, from a vehicle in the area of Arthur Place was reported on Dec. 10.

Patrolman Luke Cahill took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Mechanic Street was reported on Dec. 9. It was reported that the side of a building was tagged in graffiti with blue and purple lettering.

Sgt. Matthew Ehrenreich took the report.

• The theft of a gray Trek 10-speed bicycle, valued at $1,500, from the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Dec. 5.

Arrests

• Kevin Dudzinski, 40, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Arthur Place on Dec. 30 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Patricia Ferraro, 64, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on Dec. 27 and charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and criminal mischief by Patrolman Christian Nelson.

• Mario Evans, 53, of Toms River, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Dec. 16 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Marcelino Hernandez-Hernandez, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of W. Sunset Avenue on Dec. 25 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Andrew Todd.

• Alejandro Morales, 32, of Jackson, was arrested in the area of Newman Springs Road on Dec. 21 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Joseph McGreevy, 60, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Navesink River Road on Dec. 17 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and hindering apprehension by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Devin Daniels, 31, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Cooper’s Bridge on Dec. 13 and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Amanda Faucher, 45, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Spring Street on Dec. 12 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Brian Bergin, 20, of Spring Lake, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Dec. 11 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Abigail Desopo, 19, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Dec. 11 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Devin Dement, 19, of Wall, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Dec. 11 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Amanda Faucher, 45, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Spring Street on Dec. 9 and charged with theft and obstructing the administration of law by Patrolman Andrew Todd.

• Claudia Oben, 48, of Red Bank was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on Dec. 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

• Shaun Monahan, 53, of Staten Island, NY was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on Dec. 1 and charged with being a fugitive from justice by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.
