Police Report: DUIs, Drug Possession, Obstruction

The following January arrests were reported by Monmouth Beach police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Arrests

• Justin Liotta, 29, of Marlboro, was arrested in the area of Ocean Avenue and Tradewinds Lane on Jan. 17 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs (DUI).

• Garrett Homsany, 37, of Cranford, was arrested in the area of Ocean Avenue and Seacrest Road on Jan. 14 and charged with driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol (DUI), open container, use/possession with intent to use drugs/paraphernalia and several other related motor vehicle offenses.

• Brendan Sapio, 18, of Atlantic Highlands, was arrested in the area of Ocean Avenue and Imbrie Place on Jan. 11 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs (DUI), open container of alcohol in motor vehicle and other related motor vehicle offenses.

• Jesus Cruzcastillo, 35, of Ocean, was arrested in the area of Ocean/Park on Jan. 10 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs (DUI) and related motor vehicle offenses.

• Andrew Prescott, 59, of Branchburg, was arrested in the area of Ocean Avenue/Sunrise Condos on Jan. 1 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs (DUI).

• Maycon Batistapereira, 26, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Ocean Avenue and Beach Road on Jan. 1 and charged with possession of controlled dangerous substances (CDS)/Analog Schedule I, II, III, IV, possession of CDS and failure to give CDS to police, driving under the influence of drugs/alcohol (DUI), operating a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS and related motor vehicle offenses.

• Tara Tenzlinger, 58, of Sea Bright, was arrested in the area of Ocean Avenue/Sunrise Condos on Jan. 1 and charged with obstructing the administration of law/other government function.
