Police: 26-Year-Old Jailed on Major Drug Bust Charges; $210K Bail

The following recent arrests were made and reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Daniel Woods, 27, of Ohio Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on April 11 by Patrolman Eric Van Schaack and charged with simple assault.

He was released pending a court date.

• Sean Leavy, 45, of Thousand Oaks Drive in Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on April 11 by Patrolman Richard Belmont and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Joey Nemati, 20, of Blue Hills Drive in Holmdel, was arrested on April 11 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes and charged with shoplifting.

He was released pending a court date.

• On April 11, Detective Kelly Godley arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile from the Belford section of Middletown and charged him with theft, aggravated assault, robbery, conspiracy, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

He was held at the Middlesex Youth Detention Center.

• On April 11, Detective Kelly Godley arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile from the Belford section of middletown and charged him with conspiracy, aggravated assault, theft, and robbery.

He was held at the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center.

• On April 12 Patrolman Daniel Benbrook arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile from Middletown and charged him with conspiracy, aggravated assault, robbery, and theft.

He was held at the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center.

• On April 12 Detective Kelly Godley arrested 15-year-old and 14-year-old male juveniles from the Lincroft section of Middletown and charged them with criminal mischief.

Both subjects were released pending a court date.

• Tiarra Harris, 27, of Cedar Crossing in Red Bank, was arrested on April 13 by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana.

He was released pending a court date.

• Osvaldo Melendez, 44, of Seeley Avenue in Brooklyn, NY, was arrested on April 13 by Patrolman Michael Heaton and charged with impersonating a police officer.

He was released after posting $10,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.

• On April 14, Cpl. Robert McNair arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile from Atlantic Highlands and charged him with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and simple assault.

• Shawn Dyson, 23, of Atlantic Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on April 14 by Patrolman John Walsifer and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession of heroin.

He was released pending a court date.

• Kevin Koehler, 21, of Court Drive in Shrewsbury, was arrested on April 14 by Patrolman Nicholas Haines and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Bryan McKee, 26, of Pedee Place in Middletown, was arrested on April 15 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school zone, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of prescription medications, unlawful possession of prescription medication with intent to distribute and unlawful possession of prescription medication with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school zone.

He was held on $210,000 bail, set by Judge Kilgallen of the Monmouth County Superior Court.

• Matthew McKee, 30, of Pedee Place in Middletown, was arrested on April 15 by Detective Daniel Sullivan and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Michael Dowlen, 49, of Michael Drive in Middletown, was arrested on April 18 by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis and charged with terroristic threats and false imprisonment.

He was released after posting $5,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.

• Lauren Hoffman, 28, of Gravely Point Road in Highlands, was arrested on April 18 by Patrolman Greg Buhowski of the Anti-Crime Unit and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was released pending a court date.

• Steven Matrejek, 30, of Forest Avenue in North Middletown, was arrested on April 19 by Patrolman Frank Mazza and charged with false reports to law enforcement.

He was released pending a court date.

• Ashley Dipianta, 24, of Spring Street in Red Bank, was arrested on April 19 by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis and charged with shoplifting.

She was released pending a court date.

• Robert Conti, 31, of First Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on April 21 by Patrolman Brian Dilworth and charged with simple assault.

He was held on $15,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge James Berube.

• Sared Pitre, 20, of Shoreland Terrace in Middletown, was arrested on April 21 by Patrolman Julian Reis and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Ashley Sammond, 19, of Apple Valley Drive in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on April 22 by Patrolman Christopher Menendez and charged with disorderly conduct.

She was released pending a court date.

• John Tanchak, 19, of Woodhull Avenue in Red Bank, was arrested on April 22 by Patrolman Brady Carr and charged with criminal mischief and possession of Xanax.

He was released pending a court date.

• On April 22, Patrolman Patrick Leonard arrested a 15-year-old male juvenile and a 16-year-old male juvenile, both from Middletown, and charged them with arson.

Both juveniles were released pending a court date.

• On April 22,Patrolman Christopher Menendez arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile from the Leonardo section of Middletown, and charged him with disorderly conduct.

He was released pending a court date.

• On April 23, Patrolman Christopher Menendez arrested a 14-year-old male juvenile from Red Bank and charged him with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and underage possession of alcohol.

He was released pending a court date.

• John Shedaker, 65, of Bensalem Boulevard in Bensalem, PA, was arrested on April 23 by Patrolman Christopher Melendez and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Michael Burns, 36, of Tindall Road in Middletown, was arrested on April 23 by Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis and charged with disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.

He was released pending a court date.

• Daniel Didolce, 19, of Palmer Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on April 23 by Patrolman Patrick Leonard and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief.

He was released on his own recognizance.
