Rumson-raised Ernest E. Hallam passed away on March 29. He was 74.
After growing up in Rumson, Ernie moved to Colts Neck after getting married. He lived there for 30 years and then moved to Cornville, AZ to retire.
Ernie was predeceased by his parents Ernest C and Agnes (Shea) Hallam.
He is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, to whom he was married to for 46 years.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 10 a.m. to noon at John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. An 11:30 a.m. service will take place at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Mt. Oilvet Cemetery in Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or a local animal shelter of your choice.
