In Memoriam: Red Bank Resident Patricia Agius, 82

Red Bank resident, Patricia Rose Agius, passed away on Jan. 16. She was 82.

“Born in Jersey City and raised in Bayonne, Patricia carried with her a deep appreciation for family, tradition, and togetherness.

“Known for her quick wit and her gift for making others laugh, Patricia also expressed her love through cooking for her family and friends. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, celebration, and countless family stories — a space where she nourished both appetites and spirits …

“A devoted homemaker, Patricia created a warm and welcoming home where love, laughter, and good food were constants. Despite facing many health challenges over the years, she maintained a remarkably positive outlook — a quiet resilience that inspired everyone around her.

Patricia was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent and Veronica Nardini; and her siblings, James, John, and Margaret.

She is survived by: her loving husband, Joseph; their three sons, Joseph (Sandra), James (Lisa), and John; her cherished grandchildren, Joseph, Katherine, Ella, Claire, and Laura, “each of whom brought her immense joy and pride;” and her siblings, Vincent, Thomas, and Joseph Nardini.

A gathering to honor Patricia’s life will be held on Saturday, Feb. 14, at St. James Church in Red Bank at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass at 10. Internment will take place immediately afterward at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
