Loved ones of Lisa McLean in her obituary
Lisa was known as “a devoted wife, mother, stepmother, sister, and Nana, whose kindness and love touched everyone who knew her. Raised in Little Silver, Lisa built a life rooted in family, education, and service to others.
“After earning her education degree from Glassboro College and two master’s degrees from Monmouth University, she began a 35-year career in Special Education with the Long Branch School System. Throughout her career, she received many accolades, including Teacher of the Year, a testament to her dedication and the lives she changed.
“Though she was proud of her professional accomplishments, nothing meant more to Lisa than her family. Her happiest moments were the ones spent with her grandchildren, who knew her best simply as Nana. Her warmth, wisdom, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those she loved.”
