In Memoriam: Lifetime Shrewsbury Resident, Ginni O’Dor, 61

Lifetime Shrewsbury resident, Ginni O’Dor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 29, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was 61.

“A life-long resident of Shrewsbury, Ginni enjoyed spending time with her family, dogs, reading, and the beach. Ginni practiced social work up until she devoted her time to raising her children. She is survived by her husband David of 37 years, and her loving children, Alex, Michael, Jacqueline, and future daughter in-law Tori, and all her many other relatives and family friends.”

Ginni attended Shrewsbury Borough Elementary, Red Bank Regional High School, Stockton State College, and Rutgers University Graduate School, where she earned her master’s degree in Social Work.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 2 at John E Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. There will be a private interment for the family immediately following visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made in Ginni’s name to American Cancer Society.
