In Memoriam: Former Longtime Little Silver Resident, RBR Grad, Artist, Kevin Adams, 67

Former longtime Little Silver resident and artist, Kevin “Kevo” Richard Adams, passed away peacefully on Jan. 2. He was 67.

Born in Red Bank to Edward and Gloria Adams, he attended Markham Place in Little Silver, Red Bank Regional High School and earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.

“A career fine art painter, Kevin was an artist through and through, also enjoying cooking, reading mythology and sketching. Kevin had a kind and gentle personality and was inspirational with his dedication to seeing the world through his art. He was curious and was always trying to understand life through his sketchbooks and paintings.”

Kevin was also a former parishioner of Saint James Catholic Church in Red Bank until he moved to Whiting.

Kevin is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Gloria.

He is survived by his brother and sister, Michael Edward Adams and Kathleen Adams Olsen.

A burial service honoring Kevin will be held on Saturday, Jan. 18, at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 100 Chapel Hill Road in Red Bank.
