Maryanne Lombardi Brancazio passed away peacefully on June 7 in Red Bank. She was 81.

“Nicknamed Hoover, Maryanne’s first job after graduating from Cathedral was with the FBI, where she learned how to use a firearm. In the late 1970s, she began a long career at Philip Morris, retiring as a professional in their Corporate Tax Department. A proud single mother, Maryanne worked full-time while raising her family and attended night school at Mercy College, where she obtained a BS Degree in Science. In addition, she obtained a Tax Specialist Certificate from Indiana University.
“She was devoted to faith and family and leaves behind two loving children: her son, Christopher John Brancazio, and her daughter, Michele Anne Lombard, who miss her angelic smile and unconditional love.”
Maryanne was the daughter Anna and Louis Lombardi, Sr., born in New York, NY. A devout Catholic who believed in the power of prayer, Maryanne was a proud graduate of Cathedral High School in New York.
Maryanne’s family would like to thank all the devoted healthcare professionals who showed her compassion during the last few months of her life.
A memorial gathering will take place at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave. Red Bank, NJ 07701 on Saturday Aug. 2, from noon to 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made on her behalf to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
