With the weekend that ends summer, Labor Day weekend, there will be two separate DWI checkpoints in Monmouth County running from Friday night through Sunday morning, The Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

Starting at 9 p.m. and running until 1 a.m. on Saturday, vehicles headed north on Route 9 will be diverted into the Crunch Fitness parking lot.
There, Marlboro police and Task Force members will screen drivers for sobriety.

Starting at 9 p.m. and running until 1 a.m. on Sunday, all vehicles headed north on Main Street will be directed onto Elberon Avenue where drivers will be screened by Allenhurst police and Task Force members for sobriety.
