Yes, it’s that time of the year. Tree time. And there’s no finer a time than the traditional Christmas tree sale at the Fair Haven Firehouse.
It starts around Thanksgiving and ends when, well, the trees are cleared — sold out, that is — and given good homes a holiday dress-up.
And all dressed up, themselves, with trees to load, Fair Haven firemen, fire police and first aiders were getting festive with the sale over the weekend. In fact, the festivities were such a hit that the department announced that there were only 60 trees left as of early this afternoon.
“Wow! Less than 60 trees left! a post from the Fair Haven Fire Department (FHFD) said. “Thank you to our community for your support! Stop by any night this week 6 to 9 p.m.! If you can’t find your tree here, make sure to support other local fire companies such as Little Silver Fire Dept, who also have an awesome collection of Christmas trees!”
