Scene Around: Faces of the 2024 Fair Haven Fire Department Leadership

When it comes to volunteer fire department reorganizations of the New Year, while members usually know who’s up next and for what position on the line of officers, it’s all formalized with official oaths of office on New Year’s Day.

That’s exactly how it’s been done in Fair Haven since the dawn of the Fair Haven Fire Department. Then there’s a celebration at the firehouse.

In the midst of all of the New Year’s reorganizing and partying, there are pictures of those new line officers. Any Fair Havenite may have to call on one or the other in the course of the year, so we’re here to show you their faces.

Above are the new line officers at the top of the entire Fair Haven Fire Department. They are: Chief Matt DePonti, Deputy Chief Kevin Countryman, 1st Assistant Chief Matt Bufano and 2nd Assistant Chief Matt Lang.

Under the umbrella of the department are: Fire Company (which the fire department line officers represent), Fire Police, First Aid Squad and Auxiliary.

Below are the Fair Haven Fire Police line officers for 2024.

Below are the women presiding over the Fair Haven Fire Department Auxiliary for 2024.

They are: President Carol Conk and Vice President Ashley Finamore.

Congratulations to all! Residents, you’ll be seeing them around the town. Every one of these members serves as a volunteer. When you see them, take a minute to thank them.
