It’s widespread area news that RFH Class of 2006 grad Brooks Robinson was sworn in as a Fair Haven Police Department patrolman Monday night.

Robinson started in the department in 2012 as what is called a special officer. Pretty serious stuff, right?

Yes. And, he has gotten many accolades from colleagues, officials and the chief of police himself. All quite honorable.

Robinson, however, back in his RFH graduating year was recognized for something a bit lighter — his keen sense of humor. He was voted Class Clown — and most likely to be on Comedy Central.

So, the Retro Pic of the Day gives a glimpse back to and insight into an officer and a … well, class clown. Pretty cool. Hey, it’s often been said that a valued quality for those in the most serious lines of work is a good sense of humor.

Now you know that Fair Haven Police Patrolman Brooks Robinson has one of the finest senses of humor, according to the “most-likely-to” powers that be at RFH.

Congrats, again, Brooks Robinson! Keep smiling. The whole world’s smiling with you. Wait. Was he also the first RFH senior to grow a goatee?
