An area man has been charged with child pornography stemming from an investigation that revealed his alleged possession and distribution of child sexual abuse materials (CSAM), Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Wednesday.

Timothy R. Kanski, 32, of Ocean Grove, has been charged with one count of second-degree distribution of child sexual abuse materials and one count of second-degree possession of child sexual abuse materials.
An investigation into this online matter was initiated in October of 2024 by the MCPO High Tech Bureau’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit which determined that Kanski was in possession of and distributed CSAM files.
Kanski was arrested on Friday morning, Jan. 10, by members of the MCPO High Tech Bureau, Search Warrant Entry Team (SWET) and the Neptune Township police.
