Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred sometime between Aug. 27 and 28. Several vehicles parked in the area of Wallace Street were reported damaged. Tires were slashed by an unknown person or persons.

• The theft of a silver and grey mountain bicycle, valued at approximately $400, that was reported to have been locked at the Red Bank Train Station was reported stolen on Aug. 24.

Patrolman Tanner Shea took the report.

• The theft of a cable- locked bicycle from a rack behind a Shrewsbury Avenue business was reported to have occurred on Aug. 22.

Patrolman David Smith took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Aug. 19. White spray paint was reported to have been painted n a bench in Riverside Gardens Park.

Patrolman Dawn Shields took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Aug. 15. The victim reported that while his vehicle was parked in the area of Locust Avenue, someone spray painted blue paint on his vehicle’s side rim. The damages were assessed at more than $200.

Patrolman Shane Dengel took the report.

• The theft of Ray Ban Erica Metal model sunglasses with polarized lenses, valued at about $170, was reported on Aug. 5.
