Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A theft in the area of Maple Avenue was reported on Dec. 14. It was reported that a brown wallet, containing $400 in cash, a NJ driver’s license, credit cards and a work permit, was left on the counter of the business. When the victim realized it was left behind, he went back to retrieve it and it was gone.

• A theft in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Dec. 13. It was reported that an unlocked vehicle was broken into and the following items were stolen: a black Michael Kors wallet worth $130 containing debit cards; Mexican ID; a child support card and $150 cash; black Ray Ban sunglasses valued at $120; and a lipstick box valued at $80.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of East Sunset Avenue was reported on Dec. 11. Sometime between midnight and 7 a.m., the front passenger tires of a vehicle were slashed.

• A theft in the area of Spring Street was reported on Dec. 8. It was reported that a package that was delivered to a doorstep was cut from the bottom and items were stolen. The package was valued at $79.
