Police Report: Theft, Burglary, Assault, Drugs, Disorderly, Defiant Trespass, Graffiti, DWI

The following June criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft of a green purse containing $200 tin cash, a social security card and several insurance and credit cards from the area of Catherine Street was reported on June 30.

Patrolman Luke Cahill took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Count Basie Park was reported on June 28. An employee reported that the park dugout and rear of concession stand were tagged with blue spray paint.

Patrolman Froilan Hernandez took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Locust Avenue was reported on June 20. A resident reported that a sign on the property was tagged with black spray paint.

Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Count Basie Park was reported on June 19. A patrol officer in the area observed graffiti on a structure in the park.

Patrolman Andrew Todd took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on June 19. A building manager reported graffiti was spray painted inside an elevator of the building.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Clinton Place was reported on June 7. The owner of a vehicle reported damage to its windshield.

Arrests

• Rafael Mancia-Arevalo, 46, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of W. Front Street on June 30 and charged with being a fugitive from justice and contempt of court by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Shahab Malik, 32, of Old Bridge, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 28 and charged with theft and contempt of court by Patrolman Darren McConnell.

• Zakary Wieczerzak, 21, of Lincroft, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 26 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Christian Nelson.

• Israel Alonso-Villatoro, 21, of Jackson, was arrested in the area of N. Bridge Avenue on June 24 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) obstructing the administration of law, and resisting arrest by Patrolman James McGee.

• Wesley Chunn, 45, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Branch Avenue on June 21 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Matthew Perry, 37, of Fair Haven, was arrested in the area of W. Bergen Place on June 21 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Terrance Cox, 33, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on June 20 and charged with obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Steven Gawroriski, 42, of Laurence Harbor, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 20 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Rasheen McLeod, 30, of Ocean, was arrested in the area of W. Sunset Avenue on June 17 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Charisse Jones, 47, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Montgomery Terrace on June 17 and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Matthew Cassidy, 28, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on June 16 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.

• Jonathan Osorio, 24, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of River Road on June 15 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.

• Keith Brooks, 43, of Rumson, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 13 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• John Faccas, 30, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on June 13 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Oscar Martinez-Carrillo, 42, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on June 11 and charged with aggravated assault and resisting arrest by Patrolman Andrew Todd.

• Mohamed Daramy, 20, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested in the area of Oakland Street on June 11 and charged with criminal attempt and burglary by Patrolman Christian Nelson.

• Frank Vanness, 67, of Old Bridge, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on June 8 and charged with theft and defiant trespass by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Lawrence Zakrevsky, 37, of Holmdel, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on June 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Scenar Haddad, 32, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of River Street on June 5 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Martha Hill, 68, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Evergreen Terrace on June 3 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

• William Donnelly, 65, of the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Hudson Avenue on June 2 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Luke Cahill.
