Police Report: Burglary, Theft, Forgery, DWI, CDS Possession

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of burglary and criminal mischief in the area of Alameda Court on May 11. The victim reported that entry was gained into a residence, property was damaged and various items were stolen.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

• There was a report of identity theft and forgery in the area of Obre Place on May 8. The victim reported that someone attempted to get funds via fraudulent emails.

Detective Sgt. James Ramsey is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Radio Shack on Broad Street on May 7. The victim reported that someone stole merchandise.

Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.

Arrests 

• Tyshawn Jones-Alicea, 21, of Neptune, was arrested on May 12 in the area of Broad Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Dominick Gulizio, 53, of Middletown, was arrested on May 11 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

• Guy A. Kinsey, 54, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on May 10 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

• Casey M. Parsley, 26, of Long Branch, was arrested on May 6 in the area of Broad Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

Contempt of Court

• Christopher Edwards, 42, of New York, NY, was arrested on May 12 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Matteo P. Debenedetti, 24, of Mt. Arlington, was arrested on May 10 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ralph Latham.
