The following December criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents
• The theft of $1,049 worth of merchandise from a business in the area of Broad Street was reported on Dec. 30.
Patrolman Luke Cahill took the report.
• The theft of a grey UPPA Baby Vista stroller, valued at $1,000, from a motor vehicle in the area of W. Front Street was reported on Dec. 20.

• The theft of AirPods, valued at $250, from the area of Maple Avenue was reported on Dec. 11.
Patrolman Christian Nelson took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the area of McLaren Street was reported on Dec. 11. The owner reported damage to the passenger side mirror. The estimated cost to repair the damage was $800.
Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski took the report.
• An incident of criminal mischief at a business in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Dec. 11. The business owner reported that a person threw a drink behind the business counter causing damage to a router, valued at $170.

• The theft of a package, valued at $105, from the front porch of a Chestnut Street residence was reported.

• The theft/shoplifting of $1,538 worth of merchandise from a Broad Street business was reported by an employee on Dec. 7.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti — in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on Dec. 2. A building was tagged with black spray paint.

Arrests:
• Wayne Harris, 52, of Perth Amboy, was arrested in the area of Water Street on Dec. 31 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Christopher Martinez-Nieves, 21, of Jackson Heights NY, was arrested in the area of Locust Avenue on Dec. 31 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Joseph Rovinsky, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Dec. 29 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Colin Kouri, 43, Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Water Street on Dec. 26 and charged with shoplifting and contempt of court by Patrolman Christian Nelson.
• Jose Ponce-Gaspar, 29, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Chestnut Street on Dec. 25 and charged with robbery, burglary and simple assault by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Laryssa Andreia-Da Silva, 25, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Morford Place on Dec. 23 and charged with aggravated and simple assault by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Sean Deering, 25, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Warf Avenue on Dec. 21 and charged with disorderly conduct by Sgt. Ashon Lovick.
• Dana Colonna, 41, of Old Bridge, was arrested in the are of Bridge Avenue on Dec. 20 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.
• Javier Perez-Bermudez, 54, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of E. Bergen Place on Dec. 18 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.
• David Esposito, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on Dec. 15 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.
• Nicasio Canete-Olivares, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Branch Avenue on Dec. 14 and charged with obstructing the administration of law by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.
• Marcos Merino-Torres, 44, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Dec. 13 and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.
• Vincent Calvacca, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of W. Bergen Place on Dec. 8 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), underage DWI and criminal simulation by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Brandy Santos-Ruiz, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Drummond Place on Dec. 6 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of drug paraphernalia and contempt of court by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.
• Ernesto Lozano-Zane, 21, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Catherine Street on Dec. 1 and charged with aggravated assault, criminal mischief, theft, burglary and criminal sexual contact by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.
** Police reported 17 arrests solely on contempt of court warrants. **
