Police Report: $10K Jewelry Theft, Drugs, Assault, Defiant Trespass, Harassment, Disorderly, Thefts, DWI, Criminal Mischief

The following June criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft/shoplifting on June 29 of five cases on Monster energy drink, valued at $149, from a business on Broad Street was reported.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Broad Street was reported on June 27. Several areas on a property were tagged with graffiti spray paint.

Patrolman Michael Zadlock took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on June 26. The owner of a vehicle reported scratches scrolled on the rear passenger side door.

Patrolman Andrew Todd took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Harding Road was reported on June 26. an employee reported a green temporary fence was tagged with white spray painted graffiti.

• The theft of a black iPhone 14 S Plus from the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on June 24.

Patrolman Milton Gray took the report.

• The theft of a U.S. passport, a pair of Ray Ban aviator sunglasses and $10 in cash from a motor vehicle in the area of W. Westside Avenue was reported on June 23. The vehicle owner reported that the rear window of the vehicle was broken.

• The theft of a dark blue Diamondback hybrid bicycle, valued at $200, from the area of Monmouth Street was reported on June 22.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Locust Avenue was reported on June 21. the owners of two vehicles reported that both vehicles had been tagged with black spray paint graffiti.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Herbert Street was reported on June 21. A vehicle owner reported that the driver’s side front door and rear door was tagged with black spray paint graffiti.

• The theft of a diamond Egyptian evil eye charm teardrop necklace, valued at $10,000, from the area of Riverview Plaza was reported on June 20.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Bridge Avenue was reported on June 17. An employee reported that lettering was sprayed with black spray paint on the wall of the business restroom.

• The theft of a black Cannondale Trail bicycle, valued at $750, from the area of West Front Street was reported on June 16.

• The theft of a package, valued at $300, from the area of River Street was reported on June 15.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Maple Avenue was reported on June 14. It was reported that a portable restroom, an electrical box, and a wall located on the property was tagged with spray paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Bank Street was reported on June 13. Police observed a sidewalk that was tagged with blue spray paint.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Marine Park was reported on June 10. A restroom wall in the park was painted with multiple renderings.

• The theft of an iPhone 14 Pro Max, valued at $1,250, from a business on White Street was reported on June 5.

• The theft/shoplifting of several items, valued at $111, from a Broad Street store was reported on June 5.

Arrests

• Juan Luna-Soriano, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on June 26 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and obstructing the administration of law and by Patrolman Andrew Todd.

• Brandon Pacheco, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Leonard Street on June 26 and charged with criminal simulation by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.

• Raul Luna-Perez, 41, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of S. Bridge Avenue on June 25 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

• Alvin Jones, 47, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on June 20 and charged with contempt of court and defiant trespass by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Christopher Kiraly, 34, of Toms River, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on June 18 and charged with obstructing the administration of law, hindering apprehension and contempt of court by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Tammy Calabretta, 50, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Water Street on June 17 and charged with contempt of court, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Aisha Dark, 43, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 16 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Henry Nickens, 26, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on June 16 and charged with obstructing the administration of law, hindering apprehension and defiant trespass by Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe.

• Thomas Hebrew, 62, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Branch Avenue on June 12 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Gladys TajTaj-Can, 32, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on June 11 and charged with harassment and defiant trespass by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Vincent Marino, 26, of Bensalem, PA, was arrested in the area of Riverview Plaza on June 10 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Julia Alvidrez, 36, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on June 7 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Markies Wells, 38, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Montgomery terrace on June 7 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.

• Alex Williams, 23, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Water Street on June 5 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Julio Madrigal, 40, of New Carlisle, OH, was arrested in the area of W. Bergen Place on June 3 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• John Anderson, 36, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Peters Place on June 2 and charged with driving while suspended and contempt of court by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
