“Ron (aka Grampy to his grandkid’s friends and more) was a resident of Shrewsbury for 54 years. He loved to go to the beach, golf with his brothers and enjoy many laughs with longtime friends. A wonderful story teller, he entertained family and friends with exotic tales of his business trips, daily commutes on NJ Transit and even mundane trips to the local market. Ron’s biggest joy was spending time with his family — especially his grandchildren. Ron never missed one of their games and loved when hordes of honorary grandchildren were at his house eating all of the snacks. Grampy was fond of giving nicknames to everyone – favorites being Big Honey, New, Puddin’ Dolly and Dodsworth. Much to the delight of his Beechwood Drive family, he “accidentally” named The Sturdy Bar the backyard hangout spot.
Ron will be missed by all.”
