Snow skies have cleared up for the start of the week, leaving behind a dusting of snow and a forecast of slightly warmer days ahead.
On this day of remembrance for slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., thoughts of peace are on the minds of many. And a still, snow-dusted Fair Haven Dock in the light of this day exudes just that. The light and its warmth taking the sting from a frozen moment is a reminder that, “darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that.”
As the sunlight continues to warm this week, some goodness shines on with kids shoveling for seniors today as part of the Fair Haven Be a Good Neighbor program and some random acts of kindness around the towns.
Reflect and shine on with the sunlight this week. Here’s the forecast from the National Weather Service.
