Like the song that topped the charts in 1975, you could have predicted that love would keep the RFH Class of ‘75 together.
It was evident on Saturday night when more than 100 of the classmates who graduated together 50 years ago reunited for a three-day celebration, the main event of which was at Nauvoo Grill Club, the former iconic Lock, Stock and Barrel, in Fair Haven.
The hokey Love Will Keep Us Together — that Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield ditty performed by Captain & Tennille — may have been more of a song about romance gone awry than happy classmate love fest sentiments, but one line fits the reunion mood.
”Look in my heart and let love keep us together …”
OK, so Reunited might have been better, but, it didn’t top the charts in ‘75; and, after all, love did keep them together after all these years.
Take a look … (CLICK on one photo to enlarge and scroll for the full-view glimpse into the night.)
Cheers to the RFH Class of ‘75!
