Summer is wrapping up at the Jersey Shore with two DWI checkpoints over the Labor Day weekend in Monmouth County, starting tonight, Friday, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

On Friday night in Marlboro …
Starting at 9 p.m. on Friday and running until 1 a.m. on Saturday, all vehicles traveling north on Route 9 will be diverted into the Crunch Fitness parking lot where DWI Task Force members and Marlboro police will screen drivers for sobriety.
On Saturday night in Spring Lake …
Starting at 10 p.m. and running until 2 a.m. on Sunday, all vehicles traveling south on Route 71 will be diverted into the Marucci Park parking lot at Third Avenue where DWI Task Force members and Spring Lake police will screen drivers for sobriety.
