Police Report: Theft, Burglary, Forgery

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Broad Street was reported by a male on Jan. 12.

Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.

• A theft in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported by a male on Jan. 12.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

• A theft in the area of Broad Street was reported by a female on Jan. 13.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• A burglary in the area of Borden Street was reported by a male on Jan. 16.

Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.

• A forgery in the area of Shrewsbury Plaza was reported by a male on Jan. 19.

Patrolman Matthew Clark is investigating.

Contempt of Court Arrests

• Jason Labarbera, 20, of Staten Island, NY was arrested on Jan. 14 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

• Roland Barnes, 65, of Red Bank, was arrested on Jan. 14 in the area of Newman Springs Road on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

• Anthony Karcher, 37, of Atlantic Highlands, was arrested on Jan. 14 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue by Sgt. Tracy Polk on a contempt of court warrant.

• James Kelly, 54, of Shrewsbury Township, was arrested on Jan. 18 in the area of Shrewsbury Plaza on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

• Francis McCann, 23, of Little Silver, was arrested on Jan. 18 at police headquarters on Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

• Sydieria Jones, 25, of Eatontown, was arrested on Jan. 19 at police headquarters on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Derek Myers.
