Police Report: Criminal Mischief, Identity Theft, Shoplifting & Drugs

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Frances Street on Sept. 21. The victim reported that someone vandalized property, causing $500 worth of damages.

Detective Sgt. James Ramsey is investigating.

• There was a report of identity theft in the area of Thornbrook Drive on Sept. 20. The victim reported that someone attempted to pass fraudulent checks.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• There was a report of a shoplifting in the area of Saks off 5th, Broad Street, on Sept. 17. The victim reported that $469.95 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Arrests

• Kendra A. Dellapietro, 25, of Keansburg, was arrested on Sept. 23 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Jesica L. Mayo, 29, of Howell, was arrested on Sept. 19 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

• Jeffrey Carrington, 50, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on Sept. 18 and charged with receiving stolen property and on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Broad Street by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

Contempt of Court

• Tyrone D. Whitley, 36, of Asbury Park, was arrested on Sept. 20 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.

• Jennifer Spinelli, 34, of Long Branch, was arrested on Sept. 18 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Broad Street by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.

• James J. Sullivan, 58, of Red Bank, was arrested on Sept. 17 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Sycamore Avenue by Patrolman Tyler Fox.
