Police Report: Burglary, Theft, Identity Theft, CDS Possession

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of an identity theft on Oct. 13 in the area of Windingbrook Way. The victim reported that an unknown person or people attempted to open fraudulent accounts.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• There report of theft in the area of Park Avenue on Oct. 12. The victim reported that property valued at $329 was stolen.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft on Oct. 10 in the area of The Gap on Broad Street. The victim reported that someone stole $2,001 worth of merchandise.

Patrolman Tyler Fox is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft on Oct. 9 in the area of A Pea in the Pod store on Broad Street. The victim reported that $399.99 worth of merchandise was stolen.

Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.

 

Arrests

• Michael J. McKinney, 24, of Keyport, was arrested on Oct. 10 in the area of Sycamore Avenue and charged with burglary by Detective James Ramsey.

• David R. Koch, 37, of Brick, was arrested on Oct. 11 in the area of Remount Drive and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

 

• Dimitri L. Rago, 25, of Long Branch, was arrested on Oct. 16 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Matthew Clark.

Contempt of Court

• Ernst C. Briggs, 37, of Triangle, VA, was arrested on Oct. 15 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Tyler Fox.

• Margaret P. White, 22, of Sea Girt, was arrested on Oct. 12 in the area of Broad Street on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Special Law Enforcement Officer Kyle Ludwig.
