Police Report: $40K Vehicle Theft, Harassment, $7.8K Theft, Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of harassment in the area of Avenue at the Commons on July 29. The victim reported that an unknown person left threatening messages.

Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.

• There was a report of the theft of a motor vehicle valued at $40,000 from the area of Princeton Court on July 27.

Patrolman Derek myers is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street on July 27. The victim reported that $7,838 worth of property was stolen.

Sgt. Jessica Boyd is investigating.

• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on July 24. The victim reported that a vehicle was damaged.

Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Dorchester Way on July 22. The victim reported that someone stole property.

Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street on July 19. The victim reported that merchandise was stolen.
