Summer has not yet arrived, but DWI checkpoints are making their seasonal comeback on Friday.
The first in Monmouth County will be held starting on Friday night through early Saturday morning in Neptune Township, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

The Neptune Township DWI checkpoint will be set up on Route 33 at Jumping Brook Plaza and will be conducted from 9 p.m. on Friday to 1 a.m. on Saturday.
At the plaza all vehicles headed west on Route 33 will be pulled into the Jumping Brook Plaza where Neptune Township police and Monmouth County DWI Task Force members will screen drivers for sobriety.
These checkpoints are publicized in accordance with proper public disclosure statutes.
