Rumson Police Report: Alleged Mail Thief Nabbed, DWI, Contempt

The following January arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Michele De Araujo, 35, of Newark, was arrested on Jan. 25 on a contempt of court warrant and subsequently charged with 25 counts of theft by Detective Cody Lovgren after an investigation revealed that she was (allegedly) in possession of multiple pieces of mail from several Rumson residents.

• Ryan Neff, 41, of Rumson, was arrested in the area of Rumson Road and Buttonwood Lane on Jan. 3 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by S/O Donald Morse.

Contempt of Court

• Tammy Calabretta, 45, of West Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Seven Bridges Road and Pirate’s Cove, Little Silver, on Jan. 9 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Lawrence Adams, 63, of Rumson, was arrested in the area of East River Road and Park Avenue on Jan. 5 on a contempt of court warrant by Detective Cody Lovgren.

• Rachael Parker, 24, of Rumson, was arrested in the area of East River Road and Park Avenue on Jan. 5 on a contempt of court warrant by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.
