A must of a seasonal reprise, just because … The season says it all. Every fall has a rise and these RFH guys always seemed to find a way to rise to the occasion of a good skateboarding adventure and antics. So, this seasonal reprise from October of 2019 seemed a repeat of the finest RFH kind.  Ride on, RFH guys …

You’ve seen them before … this crew of daring, not so diabolical RFH guys who had a little skateboarding club. Call these views the triple threats.

These threesomes and others met once a week, so we’re reminded, and they skated through the fall and around many falls. These guys were known to do all sorts of acrobatics on the board. You could say they fell for one another in the fall. Something like that. They did handstands, squats, jumps and all that other fancy stuff that now has names. One thing they didn’t have was ramps. No. These guys only had driveways and the neighborhood streets — hilly streets, if you can imagine that.

Ponder this: Teens and even little kids back in those 1960s and 70s used to play in the street with regular frequency — like every night until the dinner bell rang or the street lights went on.

Well, these RFH guys were never kicked to the curb. They hit the streets with finesse instead and, yes, some antics.

In these Retro Pic(s) of the (George) Day, it was all about the skating threesome. Three guys. Their boards. You’ve seen a couple of shots of some of these skateboarding regulars. Recognize anyone else here?

Think they could do this now? Hmmmm. Guys?

Thanks ever so much to the fabulous George Day for grabbing this glimpse back in time with his trusty camera!
