Prosecutor: Pedestrian Dies from Injuries Sustained in Sunday Accident

A 52-year old female died as a result of being struck by a motor vehicle on Sunday evening in Marlboro, Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni announced.

Dawn A. Sheldrick, 52, of Morganville, was walking in the area of Texas Road and Mill Ponds Way in Marlboro at approximately 7:32 p.m. Sunday evening when she was struck eastbound by a 2003 Toyota Camry, driven by Brandon J. Morin, 18, of Morganville.

The victim was pronounced deceased at 8:16 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Marlboro Police Department.
