Police Report: Theft, Harassment, Drug Dealing, Weapons Possession, Stalking

The following April criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• The theft of 14 pieces of plywood, valued at $358, from the area of Spring Street was reported on April 28.

Patrolman Piero Vescio took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Leroy Place was reported on April 24. The owner of a vehicle reported that there was a key scratch on the rear door of their vehicle.

Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.

• The theft of black Victoria’s Secret wallet containing a NJ driver’s license, a Visa debit card, a social security card and multiple insurance cards, from a business in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on April 22.

Patrolman Taylor Doremus took the report.

• The theft of a black iPhone X with a red case from a park bench at Count Basie Athletic Field was reported on April 22. The phone was valued at $200.

Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.

• The theft, in the area of Harding Road, of $310 in cash from a brown leather bifold wallet was reported on April 18.

Patrolman Grace Maggiulli took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the area of River Street was reported on April 5. The vehicle’s owner reported a large key scratch on a parked vehicle starting at the rear passenger door extending to the rear taillight. The damage was estimated at $300.

Arrests

• James Rapp, 21, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Mechanic Street on April 30 and charged with harassment by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Jamee Rapp, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Mechanic Street on April 30 and charged with harassment by Sgt. Matthew Ehrenreich.

• Isaac Ruiz, 25, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Mechanic Street on April 30 and charged with harassment by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Kevin Mack, 37, of New Brunswick, was arrested in the area of Riverside Avenue on April 28 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Froilan Hernandez.

• Douglas Anderson, 35, of Toms River, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on April 27 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespass and contempt of court by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.

• Anthony Ragusa, 28, of Hazlet, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on April 24 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Piero Vescio.

• Oscar Cruz, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on April 24 and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of law by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

• Anthony Castro, 18, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Water Street on April 12 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

• Gerson Palacios-Velazque, 18, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Water Street on April 12 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), manufacture/distribution of CDS or intent to distribute CDS, and unlawful possession of weapons by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Noah Isenmann, 23, of Farmingdale, was arrested in the area of West Bergen Place on April 11 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and contempt of court by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

• Corey Vaughn, 49, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on April 7 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Ikey Shammah, 39, of Ocean, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on April 6 and charged with stalking and contempt by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

**Police reported seven arrests solely on contempt of court warrants.**
