Police Report: Theft, Criminal Trespass, CDS Possession

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Victoria’s Secret on Broad Street on June 3. The victim reported that merchandise was stolen.

Detective Sgt. James Ramsey is investigating.

• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of Meridian Way on June 3. The victim reported that some posed as a family member to get $2,000 in funds.

Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.

• There was a report of criminal trespassing in the area of Dorchester Way on June 4. The victim reported that someone entered property without permission.

Patrolman Joseph Barnicle is  investigating.

Arrests

• Phylicia S. Noble, 28, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested on June 3 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and contempt of court.

• Douglas E. Hunter,  27, of Red Bank, was arrested on June 5 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barincle.

• Jennifer Spinelli, 33, of Long Branch, was arrested on June 7 in the area of Sycamore Avenue on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Angel Marrero.

• Ulises A. Aguilar-Jimenez, 39, of Somerset, was arrested June 10 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant in the area of Sycamore Avenue by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
