Police Report: ID Theft, Credit Card Fraud, DWI, Assault, Theft

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• An identity theft in the area of Alameda Court was a reported on March 1. The victim reported that people posed government employees to obtain personal information.

Patrolman Angel Marrero is investigating.

• There was a report of credit card fraud in the are of Broad Street on Feb. 28. The victim reported that an unauthorized person used accounts to make $4,396 worth of purchases.

Patrolman Derek Myers is investigating.

• A theft in the area of Broad Street was reported on Feb.23. The victim reported that someone removed $60 worth of property.

• An incident of criminal mischief in the area of Broad Street was reported on Feb. 21. The victim reported that an unknown person or people vandalized property, causing $500 worth of damages.

Arrests

• Pamela R. Lewis, 57, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Feb. 27 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Charles E. Kulin III, 44, of Shrewsbury Township, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Sgt. Jessica Boyd.

• Leonora S. Ramirez, 59, of Staten Island, NY was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 24 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Timothy Murphy, 56, of Shrewsbury, was arrested in the area of Meadow Drive on Feb. 22 and charged with aggravated assault by Patrolman Kyle Ludwig.

• Allyson P. Griffith, 33, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Meadow Drive on Feb. 23 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.

• Domenico S. Bellia, 26, of Shrewsbury, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 22 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Ralph Latham.

• Tina M. Reid, 50, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Feb. 21 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Sgt. Matthew Clark.

• Kyle P. Emmons, 28, of Shrewsbury Township, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Feb. 20 and charged with shoplifting by Patrolman Ralph Latham.

• Marc E. Ambrosy, 48, of Hazlet, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 17 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Ralph Latham.

• Michael G. Garofalo, 44, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 16 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.

• Anthony J. Sedita, 47, of Matawan, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Feb. 16 and charged with theft by Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro.
