Police Report: Fraud, Theft, DWI

The following criminal incidents and arrest were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• A criminal attempt was reported by a female in the area of 830 Broad St. on Nov. 12.

Patrolman Tracy Polk investigating.

• An incident of alleged credit card fraud was reported to police at headquarters on Nov. 12.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

• A alleged incident of forgery/theft was reported by a male to police at headquarters on Nov. 12.

Patrolman Tracy Polk is investigating.

• A report of the theft a purse from a vehicle in the area of Obre Place was made on Nov. 13.

Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola is investigating.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street and Thornebrook Drive on Nov. 20. The victim reported that a bracelet was stolen from a residence.

Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.

Arrest

• Ruben Chicas, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested on Nov. 13 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) in the area of White Road by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.
