Juvenile, Teen Arrested on Weapons, Aggravated Assault & Terroristic Threat Charges

The following recent arrests were reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Nicole Doherty, 33, of First Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on May 9, by Patrolman Nicholas Haines and charged with simple assault and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Shrewsbury Municipal Court.

She was released after posting $389 bail with a 10 percent option.

• Jesse Kimball, 44, of Belmont Avenue in Madison, was arrested on May 9 by Corporal Richard Raike and charged with simple assault.

He was held on $2,500 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Paul Capaldo, 18, of Martell Court in Middletown, was arrested on May 8 by Patrolman Christopher Menendez and charged with disorderly conduct.

He was released pending a court date.

• Fred Svenson, 19, of Thorne Place in Middletown, was arrested on May 8 by Patrolman Christopher Menendez and charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated assault and terroristic threats.

He was released after posting $27,500 bail with a  10 percent option, set by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Paul Kapalko.

• Chelsea Villano, 21, of Vermont Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on May 8 by Patrolman James Beirne and charged with simple assault.

She was held on $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Steven Karpinski, 32, of Lee Drive in Brick, was arrested on May 7 by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel and charged with eluding.

He was released after posting $35,000 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Karen Josko, 43, of Clubhouse Drive in Middletown, was arrested on May 10 by Patrolman Patrick Leonard and charged with driving while intoxicated.

She was released pending a court date.

• Sean O’Grady, 38, of Park Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on May 10 by Patrolman John Walsifer and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to consent to taking of breath samples.

He was released pending a court date.

• Shannon LeComte, 31, of Hancock Street in Kenasburg, was arrested on May 8 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• On May 8, Patrolman Savvas Roumeliotis arrested a 16-year-old female juvenile from the Belford section of Middletown and charged her with simple assault.

She was released pending a court date.

• On May 8, Patrolman Christopher Menendez arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile from Middletown, and charged him with unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of law.

He was released pending a court date.

• Kelly Leslie, 32, of Edge View Road in Aberdeen, was arrested on May 10 by Patrolman James Beirne and charged with driving while intoxicated.

She was released pending a court date.

• Troy Waitt, 25, of Dogwood Terrace in Middletown, was arrested on May 12 by Patrolman Jesse Toma and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Kyle Emmons, 24, of Belshaw Avenue in Eatontown, was arrested on May 11 by Patrolman Jason Troshane for violation of a court order.

He was held pending a court date.

• Dustin Jeandron, 31, of Frelinghuysen Avenue in Newark, was arrested on May 12 by Detective Kimberly Best and charged with burglary and theft.

He was held on $15,000 bail set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Christopher Gallagher, 42, of East End Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on May 12 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

He was released pending a court date.

• Troy Waitt, 25, of Dogwood Terrace in Middletown, was arrested on May 12 by Patrolman Jesse Toma and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• John Stemmler, 47, of Shore Drive in Highlands, was arrested on May 13 by Patrolman Richard Fulham and charged with driving while intoxicated.

He was released pending a court date.

• On May 12, Patrolman Adam Colfer arrested a 16-year-old male juvenile and charged him with burglary, simple assault, terroristic threats, criminal mischief, criminal trespass, theft, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest.

He was held at Middlesex County Youth Detention Center.

• Thomas Close, 19, of Mercer Street in Hazlet, was arrested on May 16 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte and charged with being under the influence of a controlled dangerous substance and disorderly conduct.

He was released pending a court date.

• John Wilczewski, 24, of Thompson Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on May 15 by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel and charged with criminal mischief and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Neptune Municipal Court.

He was held on $3,500 bail.

• Emanuel Papasavvas, 41, of Campbell Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on May 14 by Patrolman Antonio Ciccone and charged with simple assault.

He was released after posting $500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Michael Ianniello, 54, Ocean Avenue in Sea Bright, was arrested on May 17 by Patrolman John Mele and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to consent to taking of breath samples.

He was released pending a court date.

• Patrick Grimes, 29, of South Arlene Drive in West Long Branch, was arrested on May 17 by Patrolman Jason Andrews and charged with driving while intoxicated.

He was released pending a court date.

• Tina Rivera, 41, of Route 36 in Middletown, was arrested on May 17 by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel and charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Lakewood Municipal Court.

She was held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Sara Pierce, 32, of Route 36 in Middletown, was arrested on May 17 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe and on contempt of court warrants issued by the Old Bridge, Keansburg and Woodbridge municipal courts.

She was held on $5,000 bail.

• Richard Johnson, 44, of Route 36 in Middletown, was arrested on May 17 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic syringe and on contempt of court warrants issued by the Ocean County and Monmouth County superior courts.

He was held pending a court date.
