Fair Haven Police Report: Fraud, Criminal Mischief, Marijuana Possession, Dog Bite

The following June criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Fair Haven police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• An incident of fraud was reported on June 18. The victim reported that someone used their credit card information to make purchases at a local business.

Patrolman Michael Volker took the report. Detective Dwayne Reevey is investigating.

• An incident of a dog bite at The Wash House was reported on June 16. Medical treatment was refused and the dog owner was issued a borough ordinance violation summons for not having the dog leashed.  

Officer Alex Perkins responded. 

Arrests

• Kelsey A. Combs, 22, of Neptune City, was arrested during a DWI checkpoint on River Road on June 28 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana by Officer George Williams.

• Three were arrested on June 28 and charged with criminal mischief in connection with vandalism caused by throwing eggs at vehicles at several locations throughout Fair Haven. The three are: Taylor Sexton, 24, of Braintree; Harry Haywood, 24, of Fair Haven; and, Luke Jacobs, 25, of Red Bank.

Detective Dwayne Reevey was the investigating officer.
