Crime Close By: Strong Arm Robbery & Theft

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police: 

• A strong arm robbery was reported to have occurred on May 25 on Leonard Street. The victim reported that a male approached him outside of his residence and assaulted him by punching him and knocking him unconscious. The perpetrator fled with the victim’s wallet, containing cash and a debit card.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Maple Avenue on May 27. The victim reported that someone stole his wallet, containing cash and credit cards, from a gym locker.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on May 27 on Harding Road. The victim reported that someone entered a parked vehicle and stole an iPhone, gold earrings, an HP tablet and a Garmin GPS.

Arresting News: Weapons Possession, Simple Assault & More

The following recent arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Eligio Martinez-Rojas, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 19  in the area of River Street and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Michael Zadlock.

• Jenna Merola, 21, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 18 in the area of Riverview Plaza and charged with possession of weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal mischief and simple assault by Patrolman Garrett Falco.

Crime Close By: Robbery, Theft, Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Riverside Avenue hotel on May 18. The victim reported that she had checked a Marc Jacobs diaper bag, containing credit cards (etc.) at the front desk of the hotel and upon retrieval it was missing.

• A robbery was reported to have occurred on May 17 at a Shrewsbury Avenue residence. The victim said that she heard a loud bang on the front door. Upon answering the door, the perpetrator grabbed her, punched her in the face, stole her iPhone and then fled the area.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on May 16 on East Newman Springs Road. The victim reported that an unknown person keyed the side of a parked vehicle with a sharp object.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Monmouth Street parking lot on May 15. The victim reported that someone cut the lock on a bicycle which was secured to a pole and stole it. The bicycle is described as a grey Schwinn Mountain Bike.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on May 13 at the Bridge Avenue parking lot. The victim reported that someone entered a parked vehicle and stole a duffle bag containing clothing and prescription pills.

Arresting News: Assault, DWI, Theft

The following recent arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Michael Granados-Campos, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 14 in the area of Spring Street and charged with simple assault and contempt of court (COC) by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.

• Brian Gay, 41, of Fair Haven, was arrested on May 9 in the area of E. Front Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Two male juveniles, 13 and 16, both of Red Bank, were arrested on May 10 in the area of Oakland Street and charged with theft by Patrolman Gary Watson.

• Eric Sharp, 63, of Willingboro, was arrested on May 8 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with disorderly conduct and on a contempt of court (COC) charge by Patrolman Cevin Albert.

• Paul Kozoil, 59, of Long Branch, was arrested on May 7 in the area of Maple Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing the administration of the law by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Andrea Frost, 30, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 7 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the administration of the law by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Luis Ortiz, 22, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on May 13 by Patrolman Shane Dengel in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge (COC).

• Tyrone Roy, 52, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 7 by Patrolman Ncholas Maletto on a contempt of court charge (COC) in the area of Monmouth Street.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Carmen Place residence on May 7. The victim reported that someone stole cash from the bedroom dresser.

Arresting News: Assault, DWI, Disorderly

The following arrests were made recently by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Donald Laing, 32, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 6 by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto in the area of Spring Street and charged with simple assault and contempt of court.

• Rojelio Cervante-Martinez, 30, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 5 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with simple assault and harassment by Patrolman Jorge Torres.

• Rickie Taddio, 48, of Holmdel, was arrested on May 3 in the area of White Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman George Travostino.

• Porfirio Perez-Rosas, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 2 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with harassment by Patrolman John Camarca.

• Luis Urquizo, 47, of North Plainfield, was arrested on May 2 in the area of Mohawk Lane and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Thomas Doremus.

• Kevin Mallory, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Thomas Doremus on May 1 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge.

• Michael Stanislawczyk, 20, of Highlands, was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Ehrenreicht in the area of Coopers Bridge on May 4 on a contempt of court charge.

• Jose Chicas-Santos, 54, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman John Camarca on May 1 in the area of Chestnut Street on a contempt of court charge.

• Terance Whelan, 33, of Nashville, TN was arrested May 6 on Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Jesse Butynski, 24, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Benjamin Springer on April 30 in the area of Maple Avenue on a contempt of court charge.

• Oscare Ciriaco-Molina, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested by Sgt. Juan Sardo on April 30 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge.

Crime Close By: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A theft was reported to have occurred sometime between April 29 and May 4 at a Riverside Avenue apartment. The victim reported jewelry — a gold ring with diamonds and amethyst and a gold bracelet — missing from a night stand.

• An incident of criminal mischief on Newman Springs Road was reported on May 4. The victim reported that someone scratched his parked vehicle on the entire length of the passenger side.

Theft was reported on May 6 to have occurred within the past two months at a Riverside Avenue Apartment. The victim reported that someone stole a jewelry box, containing several pieces of jewelry valued at several thousands of dollars, from a bedroom closet.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti deployed onto a fence surrounding property — was reported to have occurred on May 6 at a Reckless Place residence.

Arresting News: Prostitution, Cocaine, Marijuana Possession, Dealing & More

The following recent arrests were made by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. 

• Esperanza Avendano-Morales, 47, of Freehold, was arrested on April 28 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with engaging in prostitution and contempt of court.

• Edwin Ventura-Egochega, 41, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested on April 28 in the area of Locust Avenue and charged with promoting prostitution and contempt of court.

Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe made the arrest.

• Oscar Ciriaco-Molina, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 30 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court.

• Alfredo Hernandez-Codero, 38, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 26 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest by Patrolman Cevin Albert.

• Veirick Kirlew, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 24 in the area of Newman Springs Road and charged with possession of a CDS, Ecstasy, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of a CDS with intent to distribute by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.

• Pepita Gadson, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 23 in the area of Montgomery Terrace and charged with terroristic threats by Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe.

• Zachary Roslin, 23, of West Palm Beach, FL, was arrested on April 23 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with possession of a CDS (cocaine), and possession of of under 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Alvin Ross, 25, of Eatontown, was arrested on April 25 in the area on Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Gary Watson.

• Maximo Sanchez-Gonzales, 18, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 29 in the area of Bridge Avenue on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Leanni Munoz, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 29 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge by Sgt. Juan Sardo.

 

Police: Patient Flees Hospital with Heart Monitor in Tow

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of criminal mischief — air let out of tires on a parked vehicle Montgomery Terrace — was reported on April 24.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Tower Hill Drive residence sometime between April 23 and 25. The victim reported that someone stole cash and a pair of gold and diamond earrings from the residence.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at Riverview (Medical Center) Plaza on April 25. Staff of the hospital reported that a patient who left from the Emergency Room took a heart monitor, valued at $3,000, and never returned.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a McLaren Street residence. The victim reported that an unknown person, within the past few weeks, stole a bicycle, circular saw and Craftsman tool box with tools in it from the garage.

Arresting News: Contempt of Court

The following arrests were made recently by Red Bank police on contempt of court charges.

• Guy Abrahamsen, 34, of Brick, was arrested on April 14 by Patrolman Tanner Shea in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge.

• James Kirgan, 55, of Keansburg, was arrested on April 14 by Patrolman David Smith in the area of Riverview Plaza on a contempt of court charge.

Police: DWI, Mischief & Missing Meds

The following recent arrest and incidents were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Arrest

• Linda Vicinio, 50, of Freehold, was arrested on April 11 in the area of Hudson Avenue and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated) by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

Incidents

• The theft of medication was reported on April 14 to have occurred sometime between April 3 (when the medication was last seen) and 14.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred at the Morford Place parking lot on April 11. The victims reported that an unknown person or persons scratched a parked vehicle around its entire length.

Police: Bread Thief at Large

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by the Red Bank police:

• An April 4 theft from a Broad Street restaurant was reported on April 8. The victim reported that someone stole her wallet, containing, cash and credit cards, from her purse while at the establishment.

• A recurring theft at a Maple Avenue delicatessen was reported on April 6. The owner reported that in the past two weeks an unknown person or persons in a white van has pulled up to the deli between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. and stolen bread from the bread box outside of the restaurant. The incidents were captured on video tape.
